KEY TURN PLANTS
The continuous pursuit of economies of scale in order to contain costs, to increase production levels, to improve the quality of a company's products by manufacturers of wooden constructions has driven production companies of machinery and systems in research into and the development of solutions that meet these needs. The solution that the company Sarmax proposes is to work each wooden element (beams and beads) in series and directly in line while avoiding situations of manual unloading, loading and handling.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SYSTEM
Using the most modern technologies, the solution that SARMAX offers is an excellent tool for companies aiming to be at the forefront and to offer its customers solutions that are optimal in terms of quality, cost effectiveness and processing time.
Generally in this type of system, the piece is worked with the part not visible located underneath so that the three visible sides do not come into contact with the roller conveyors, the chains and the conveyors.
The processes that can be performed are:
- SANDING, performed with abrasive sheets on three sides of the piece above, right, left
- RUSTICATING, or antiquing is performed with abrasive brushes
- IMPREGNATION, the stain is first sprayed, in flow-coating mode, and then coated with a series of soft brushes
The SARMAX systems are designed in modules and are therefore easily customisable. Additional work processes can be added such as: finishing, drying, gleaning, unpacking, packing, handling and transport of the pieces.
The incoming beams are deposited with the forklift truck on the automatic loader which is composed of a series of motorised chains for accumulation of the incoming beams, at the bottom of the catenary inthe direction of machines a roller bench with lifting and lowering device introduces the pieces.
On the other side, an offloading device extracts them from the machines and accumulates the beams on a series of chains so that they can be easily removed The configuration of the offloading can be in various solutions such as a single or dual output. At the bottom of the beam output line can be inserted an offloading mechanism for the storage and stacking of beads.
